We are closed Sunday and Monday to clean-up, rest, and do things. Our hours of operation are Tuesday Noon to 8:00PM and Wednesday through Saturday 8:00AM to 6:00PM. Grooming is by appointment only.

Our address is 339 W Pike St, Covington, KY . We will be in the heart of things, so come enjoy our city by shopping, dining, and maybe even living here.

Don't fret! Even though we are in an urban setting, there is plenty of convenient, close street parking with 15 minutes FREE in front of or near the store. Just push the button on the meter. In addition we have a reserved parking space in an adjacent lot. CLICK HERE to see where parking is located.

Primarily, we groom dogs of all breeds. Simply let us know of any health or personality issues when you schedule grooming. It allows us to plan ahead. We also groom cats. We will trim nails of other small breed animals.

We strive to be an affordable groomer, because grooming your pet is important. When considering grooming for your pet, don't look at price alone, but consider the things that go into the service, such as brushing, bathing, drying, nail trimming, and hair cutting. It's like a day at the spa.  

 We want to finish your pet as quickly as possible, but each step takes time to complete. Grooming times average between 2 and 4 hours.  Consider all the steps that go into grooming your pet, brushing, bathing, drying, nail trimming, and hair cutting. We will contact you when your pet is finished. Your pet's safety and health are our priority.  

 Our primary goal is your pet's safety. Your pet will be crated in an individual, ventilated crate. The crates are constructed of stainless steel and cleaned daily or after each pet if the crate is used more than once in a day. We realize that some dogs require special attention or have crate anxiety. We can work with you to meet this need. Simply let us know when you book your appointment. We want your pet and you to be as stress-free as possible during grooming. 

 Of course you may check-out our shop. Because of liability issues, we can't let you tour the grooming area when we are grooming pets, but give us a call and we will be happy to show you our facility prior to your pet's grooming appointment. We clean daily and maintain a grooming shop at which we'd want to have our own pets groomed.

 We sell a variety of products for your dog. We have natural, US produced foods and treats. We sell toys for playing, fetching, tugging, and chewing. We even have supplies to maintain their health, flea and tick prevention, and for at-home grooming. Check out our variety of products by stopping in today! Don't see an item or have a specific request, we will work with you to get what you need for your pet. 

 We do not offer delivery service, but we are happy to prepare what you need and have your order ready for in-store purchase or curbside pick-up.  Call us at 859-261-PAWS to place your pick-up order.

 We hope that each of your purchases with 4 Hounds Gear & Grooming meet or exceed your expectations. We realize that some times your purchase isn't what you needed. We will gladly refund or exchange your like new item in original packaging within 30 days of purchase and with a receipt. Dog food, pet treats, and supplements can not be returned.
